The Day:
This Sports Day event is designed to bring fun for all age groups and for people at all fitness levels.
It is a day not just for winning but for having fun. We want to see all of you out there, especially children, mums and dads, baa, bapuji, dadi and dada – so please encourage all family members, from young to old to come and enjoy the day.
So why wait, get your trainers out of the attic and come down for a day of fun-filled
‘exercise’.
Administration:
- All participants for all events must register at the above leisure centre by 10.30 a.m. at the registration desk on the day.
Plan for the Day:
10.00 – 10.30 Arrival & Registration
10.30 – 11.15 Speech, Team Organisation, Ground Rules & Format for the day
11.15 – 12.30 Warm up exercise
12.30 – 14.00 Structured Sports Activities
14.00 – 15.00 Break (Family Picnic, etc)
15.00 – 17.00 Structured Activities
17.00 – Close
Dress Code for the Day:
- Dress appropriately for the day e.g. sports wear: trainers, tracksuit, etc.
Food for the Day:
We will not be providing any food on the day apart from water, this is based on the discussions at the AGM and therefore we are encouraging all families to bring their own picnics on the day.
Any small donations gladly welcome to cover the cost of the day.
